Delivery to the UK mainland is included in the price you pay (with the exception of extreme locations, see below).
From start to finish we aim to make the delivery process as hassle-free as possible! Ombak believes in communication. We are a small team and are able to respond to our customers needs. When we contact you, we will work to your requirements. We understand people work and have commitments. We have worked with our couriers for many years and have great working relationship.
It’s our aim to get your goods to you as soon as possible, within seven to ten days. If you need an item for a specific deadline, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your schedule. Many items are in stock, and you will be alerted if an item is not in stock and informed how long it may take for a stock delivery of that item. Ombak believe in offering as many items from stock as we can, but often this is not possible. The customer will be kept informed of the stock levels and delivery times.
Upon the goods being ready for delivery, our courier will contact you to arrange a date and time that is mutually suitable. The goods will be delivered by a two man, white good delivery service. This is an external company but Ombak hold it to the highest standard so welcome any feedback on the delivery service.
A signature will be required on delivery. As standard, deliveries are carried out seven days a week at times that are mutually suitable. If you know you will not be available to receive your order, please feel free to nominate a different delivery address or details of a neighbour who will be happy to accept the delivery on your behalf. Smaller packable items, and accessories will be delivered either by our courier or Parcelforce, depending on the size and weight of the items.
Depending upon your location, there may be a surcharge for delivery. This is a charge which is essential for us for certain items and is not a revenue stream for Ombak. As a guide, all of the Scottish Islands will incur additional charges, along with Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Northern Ireland (BT). Should a surcharge apply,
Ombak will contact you immediately upon receipt of your order to confirm the details. Please be assured that in the majority of cases, Ombak subsidises delivery and we will only levy a surcharge if it is absolutely essential. Should there be an additional charge it will be per order and not per item.
